Maarten Polfliet has a strong background in portfolio management and investment strategies. Maarten started their career at SNS bank in 1999 as a Portfolio Manager, where they worked for three years. In 2002, they joined Insinger de Beaufort as a Portfolio Manager and private banker, where they stayed for three years as well. In 2005, they moved to Robeco, where they held various roles. Maarten started as a Senior Investment Specialist and worked there until 2007. From 2008 to 2013, they served as a Client Portfolio Manager Quantitative Equities, responsible for communicating Robeco's equity strategies to clients. Since 2014, they have been a Portfolio Manager Quantitative Equities and Director at Robeco, where they oversee assets under management in different strategies and manages the low-volatility Robeco Conservative Equities funds.
Maarten Polfliet completed their Master's degree in Financial Economics from Tilburg University in the years 1993 to 1998. Maarten later pursued a Postgraduate Master's degree in Financial Analysis from the University of Amsterdam from 2000 to 2002.
