Richard Purkiss

Richard Purkiss is an experienced portfolio manager specializing in global equity at Robeco since May 2019. With a robust background in pharmaceuticals research, Richard previously served as Managing Director for US and EU Pharmaceuticals Research at Piper Jaffray and held the position of Partner in US Pharmaceuticals & Biotechnology Research at Atlantic Equities. Richard's early career includes roles in prestigious firms such as UBS Investment Bank and J.P. Morgan, focusing on European Pharmaceuticals Research, as well as serving as a Healthcare Analyst at Morley Fund Management. Richard holds an MBA in Financial Mathematics from Imperial College London and has an extensive educational background including an MBBS, PhD in Neuroscience, and a BSc in Psychology from UCL.
