Cameron has over 15 years’ experience in structural engineering and is a specialist in leading the delivery of temporary works on complex building and infrastructure projects. Since joining RBG in 2006, he has worked on a wide range of building and infrastructure projects along the East Coast of Australia which has developed experience in structural analysis, design, demolition engineering, forensic investigation and remedial works for civil infrastructure projects, mining projects, high rise, and heritage buildings.
His primary focus is assisting contractors in developing and implementing innovative construction methodologies to allow for safe and efficient delivery of complex projects, the design of complex temporary works systems and the assessment, temporary support and remediation of existing structures. A recent example of this was Cameron’s lead role on the Greenland Centre where careful consideration and coordination of construction methodology and temporary works enabled the tackle to difficult task of adding 40 storeys onto an existing 27 storey building.
Cameron has grown RBG’s temporary works capability in Metro projects and is delivering temporary works services on most of the Sydney Metro City Stations. Other infrastructure projects include WestConnex, Sydney Light Rail, Brisbane Airport Link, New Farm Riverwalk and Ipswich Motorway Upgrade (Dinmore to Goodna).
