Francine Snyder

Francine Snyder is a seasoned professional in the field of archives and library management, currently serving as the Director of Archives at the Robert Rauschenberg Foundation since January 2015. Prior experience includes a significant role as Director of Library and Archives at the Guggenheim Museum, overseeing departmental leadership, collection development, and digitization initiatives. Additional experience encompasses roles as Manager of Library and Archives at the Guggenheim, where Francine managed substantial cataloging projects and an archives survey, as well as a Project Archivist at Gap Inc. and a Slide Librarian at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. Francine holds a Master of Library and Information Science from San José State University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from Purchase College, SUNY.
