Aaron Carpenter, MPH, MPA(c) currently serves as the Equity Lead and Policy Associate at RWJF while also taking on the role of Adjunct Faculty at UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health. In addition to these positions, Aaron is the Vice President of Research & Advocacy/Policy at Brothers in Public Health and works as a Habilitation Technician with Maxim Healthcare Group, focusing on individuals with intellectual disabilities and mental illnesses. Previous experience includes roles as Research Associate at UNC School of Government, Health Equity and Diversity Initiatives Intern at the Association of State and Territorial Health Officials, Marketplace Navigator at Legal Aid of North Carolina, and Graduate Research Assistant at UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center. Aaron holds an MPH and is currently pursuing an MPA at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, in addition to a Bachelor’s degree from Appalachian State University.
