Julie Hartpence

Julie Hartpence (Rusin) serves as an Equity Officer and Program Associate at the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation since November 2019. Previously, Julie held the role of Director of Programming at America's Grow-a-Row from January 2016 to November 2019, where responsibilities included overseeing volunteer recruitment, managing educational programs, and enhancing social media and PR efforts related to programming. Julie's experience also includes serving as a Volunteer Programming Specialist and Programming Team Intern at America's Grow-a-Row, where engagement with volunteers and organizing community events played key roles. Julie began the professional journey as a Social Media Marketing Intern at FeelGood World, focusing on advocacy through social media campaigns. Julie earned a Master of Science in Education, with a focus on Education, Culture, and Society, from the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education (2021-2023) and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Sociology from the University of Pittsburgh (2012-2015).
