Ariful Islam

Ariful Islam possesses extensive experience in the telecommunications industry, with a current role as Manager IP Network Deployment at Robi Axiata Limited since February 2015. In this position, Ariful is responsible for planning the design of broadband networks to support LTE, 3G, and 2G traffic. Previous roles at Robi Axiata included Specialist in Optical Network Planning and Specialist in IP Network Planning, where Ariful focused on multi-vendor GSM IP node integration and IP/MPLS network design. Prior to joining Robi Axiata, Ariful spent five years at Bangla Phone Limited as Sr. System Engineer in Planning & Development, leading a team in planning efforts, and as System Engineer focusing on service configuration. Ariful holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, earned between 2004 and 2009.
