M. Riyaaz Rasheed

M. Riyaaz Rasheed is an accomplished financial leader with extensive experience in the telecommunications sector. Currently serving as Acting CEO and CFO at Robi Axiata PLC since November 2020, M. Riyaaz Rasheed previously held the position of Deputy CEO at Hutchison Telecommunications Lanka from December 2018 to November 2020. Prior roles include Deputy CEO/CFO at Etisalat Lanka (Private) Limited and Chief Financial Officer at both Millicom (Tigo) and Celltel Lanka (Pvt) Limited, among others. M. Riyaaz Rasheed began a professional journey in management consultancy with EY and has a solid educational background with an MBA from the Postgraduate Institute of Management and a Bachelor of Science from the Open University of Sri Lanka, complemented by qualifications from CIMA and CMA.
