Shahed Alam

Shahed Alam is a seasoned legal and regulatory professional with extensive experience in the telecommunications industry, currently serving as Head of Regulatory Affairs and Executive Vice President at Robi Axiata Limited since July 2010. With a strong background in legal and compliance matters, Shahed has played a key role in advising senior management on governance, compliance policies, and regulatory strategy. Prior to this, experience includes serving as Vice President of Legal and Compliance at Capital Solicitors LLP, where representation involved a wide range of civil and commercial litigation matters, as well as criminal defense. Additional legal practice was gained at Cityside Chambers, focusing on various litigation and family law cases, and at Chancery Chambers as a pupil. Shahed holds a Barrister at Law degree from The Honourable Society of Lincoln's Inn, an LLB (Hons) from the University of London, a Master of Laws from the University of East London, and has furthered leadership skills through programs at INSEAD and MIT Sloan School of Management.
