Arumugam Nallasivam

Arumugam Nallasivam has over 15 years of work experience in the technology industry.

Arumugam currently works as a Sr Principal Engineer at Robin.io since December 2018. In this role, they are responsible for QA/Dev OPs on robin Cloud Native Platform and Cloud Native Storage Products. Arumugam is also involved in test automation, customer demos, POCs, trainings, and support.

From 2015 to 2018, Arumugam Nallasivam worked at Vexata as a Sr Staff QA Engineer. Here, they focused on qualifying Vexata All Flash Array Storage Testing, including HA, Snapshots, Clones, RAID, and Performance. Arumugam also contributed to test automation libraries for High Availability, Zero Block Detect, and Snapshots/Clones framework.

Prior to that, they were a Member Technical Staff 2 at Novell from 2013 to 2015. In this role, they led the QA efforts for NetIQ App Manager 9.1 Release, focusing on reducing TCO with improved scalability and performance. Arumugam was responsible for administering scalability test efforts, including test bed setup, configurations, distributed deployments, workload simulations, data analysis, and performance metrics analysis.

From 2011 to 2013, they worked as a Test Lead at SolarWinds, where they served as a QA Lead for Storage Manager/Firewall Security Manager products. Their responsibilities included release planning, test planning, investigating customer issues, and documenting root causes for development.

Arumugam Nallasivam started their career as an Associate at Cognizant Technology Solutions from 2009 to 2011.

From 2006 to 2009, they worked as a Technology Analyst at Infosys, where they contributed to the design and development of Universal Landing Zone - Automated Image Processing System for Bank of America's ATM cheque payments. Arumugam also worked on managing distributed systems/applications and creating tools for monitoring, report generations, and health metrics.

In 2005, they worked as a Project Engineer at ELGI EQUIPMENTS LIMITED.

Arumugam Nallasivam attended Anna University from 2001 to 2005, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering. Prior to their university education, they completed their secondary education at Thiyagi N.G.R High School, and later pursued higher secondary studies at SRI GOPAL NAIDU HIGHER SECONDARY SCHOOL in India.
