Nilesh Somani

Nilesh Somani has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Nilesh is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Robin.io, A Rakuten Symphony Company, starting in November 2022. Prior to this, Nilesh worked at Pavilion, where they served as a Lead Software Engineer from January 2022 to October 2022, and as a Software Engineer from July 2019 to February 2022. Before joining Pavilion, they were a Graduate Research Assistant at the File Systems and Storage Lab from May 2018 to May 2019, where they gained domain knowledge of NFS-Ganesha and contributed to its research and development. Nilesh also worked at GS Lab as a Senior Software Engineer from April 2015 to December 2017 and as a Software Engineer from July 2012 to March 2015.

Nilesh Somani began their education at Pune Institute of Computer Technology, where they completed a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Information Technology from 2008 to 2012. Following this, they pursued further studies and obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from Stony Brook University between 2018 and 2019.
