Donovan Powers

Donovan Powers is a highly experienced security professional with a focus on application security. Currently serving as a Staff Application Security Engineer at Robinhood since June 2021, Donovan leads the application security track and is responsible for security reviews and threat modeling. Previously, Donovan held various roles at Praetorian from August 2017 to April 2021, including Senior Application Security Engineer and Practice Manager, where responsibilities included people management, customer relationships, and product security services. Early in the career, Donovan gained experience through internships at Spiceworks and Terasim, along with a role as Systems Administrator at WWC Engineering. Donovan holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems from Carnegie Mellon University, obtained in 2017.
