James Menton

James Menton is a seasoned legal professional currently serving as a Partner at Robins Kaplan LLP since June 2014. With extensive experience in litigation, James has successfully represented a private trust in a significant case involving over $50 million owed by a fixed base operator at a major commercial airport and has handled litigation for a limited partner against general partners for breaches of fiduciary duty. Prior to Robins Kaplan, James was a Partner at Peitzman Weg LLP from September 2002 to June 2014 and began his legal career as an Associate at Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP from 1998 to 2002. James holds a J.D. from UCLA and a BA in Political Science from Northwestern University.
