Brian Smith

Brian Smith is a legal professional with extensive experience in land law, currently serving as the Section Leader for the Land Law Section at Robinson & Cole, LLP since March 2013. In addition to this role, Brian has been a Partner and Chair of the Land Use Group at the same firm since September 1985, overseeing a team that provides legal counsel on land use matters across the United States. Brian's academic contributions include serving as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Hartford from September 2000 to December 2017, teaching Entertainment Law, and previously as a Lecturer at Skidmore College from September 1978 to June 1980, where Brian taught Movement for the Actor and Fencing. Brian holds a J.D. from Cornell Law School (1985) and a B.A. in History from Colgate University (1977).
