Patrick Birney

Patrick Birney currently serves as a Connecticut Probate Judge at the Connecticut Probate Court since January 2023. Additionally, Patrick holds the position of Partner at Robinson & Cole LLP, a role maintained since December 2008, and has served as Counsel there. From March 2015 to March 2024, Patrick was the Vice Chairperson of the Wallingford Public Utilities Commission. Previous experience includes an Associate position at Thelen LLP from 2005 to 2008 and a term as Title at Thelen from 2006 to 2008. Educational qualifications include a Master of Laws (LLM) from St. John's University School of Law, a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the University of New Hampshire School of Law, an MBA in Economics from the Quinlan School of Business at Loyola University Chicago, and a BA from the University of Dayton.
