Spencer Winter

Spencer Winter is a Materials Engineer with significant experience in both the aerospace and environmental science sectors. Currently employed at Robinson Helicopter Company since January 2016, Spencer focuses on design improvements through surface engineering and materials selection, while also conducting component failure analysis. Prior experience includes work at UCLA's Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences on the Leaf Chamber Project, where Spencer acted as project coordinator and hardware engineer, facilitating collaboration between computer and environmental scientists. Spencer's background also features technical roles at The Aerospace Corporation, where contributions included modeling optics for satellite systems, developing scripts for microwave absorption, and conducting research on environmental toxic exposure. Spencer holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Materials Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles.
