Abishek Kumarasubramanian

Abishek Kumarasubramanian is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and leadership roles. Currently serving as a Principal Software Engineer at Roblox since February 2023, Abishek previously held the position of Technical Lead Manager at Wing, where efforts contributed to scaling operations and developing an Open API for marketplace services from December 2019 to January 2023. Abishek participated in the inaugural Crypto Startup School by Andreessen Horowitz in early 2020. Prior experience includes serving as Chief Architect at Tradewind Markets, where Abishek was responsible for the crypto and technology stack for a blockchain-based gold trade settlement solution, and Lead Architect at Google, focusing on scalable backend services. Early career experience at Microsoft involved a unique role in Bill Gates' technical assistants team, following a victory in the Code4Bill contest. Abishek holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from UCLA, obtained between 2008 and 2014.
