Alan Newberger

Alan Newberger is a seasoned technology executive currently serving as Senior Director of Engineering for Creator Content at Roblox since November 2023. Previously, Alan held the position of Engineering Director at Google from March 2007 to November 2023, leading various projects including podcasts, Android, Wallet, and Health. Earlier career accomplishments include serving as VP of Technology at tiny pictures, Senior Technical Analyst at frog design, and Graduate Student Researcher at the University of California, Berkeley. Alan also gained valuable experience through research internships at Intel and PARC. Alan holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Princeton University.
