Calvin Zhou

Calvin Zhou is an accomplished technology professional with a strong background in AI and robotics. Currently, as Co-Founder and VP of Engineering at RoboForce, an AI Robotics startup, Calvin focuses on developing advanced Robo-Labor systems. Previously, at Cruise, Calvin served as Tech Lead and Senior ML & Robotics Engineer II, where responsibilities included leading a scene understanding team and expanding a driverless fleet. At Cyngn, as Tech Lead for AI & Autonomy, Calvin contributed to building autonomous vehicles and played a key role in taking the company public. Calvin's earlier experience includes a Software Engineer position at Carnegie Mellon University, where design and implementation of large-scale systems were primary tasks, and a Research Assistant role at Tsinghua University, focusing on AI research in automated transportation and computer vision. Calvin holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering & Computer Science from Tsinghua University.
