Jim Smentowski

Jim Smentowski is an experienced Mac Support Specialist at TechTonic since August 2021, leveraging extensive Apple knowledge gained during a previous role as a Technical Advisor for MacOS and iOS at Apple from December 2018 to September 2021. As the owner of The Robot MarketPlace, LLC since September 2001, Jim designed and maintained a comprehensive website for robot and hobby-related products, implementing an automated FTP system for inventory management. Jim has a notable presence in the robotics community as the head of Team Nightmare, competing on BattleBots with heavyweight robots and previously winning the Lightweight championship in 1999. With a background in animation as an Animatic Artist at Industrial Light & Magic and experience in technical support and database management across various roles, Jim exhibits a robust blend of technical expertise and creativity. Jim holds a certificate in Desktop Publishing and Graphic Design from AzTech College, completed in 1993.
