Willem Bouwmeester

Willem Bouwmeester has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Willem is currently the Director Business Development and co-founder of Robotec.ai since January 2019. In 2022, they assumed the role of Advisor at Accountancy People.

Prior to this, Bouwmeester held the position of Managing Director at High Tech People starting from October 2006. From June 2011 to December 2017, they worked at TASS International as the Sr. Sales Manager Global Services, where they were responsible for European and global sales targets. Willem demonstrated expertise in sales and people management, as well as technical knowledge in simulation tooling, Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), Integrated Safety, Active Safety Testing, and Active Safety engineering projects.

Before joining TASS International, Bouwmeester served as the Relations Manager High Tech Systems at Sogeti from May 2010 to May 2011. In this role, they were responsible for sales at high tech customers in the Netherlands and participated in customer projects.

In addition, they worked as a Sales Manager at Ordina Technical Automation, where they were responsible for sales in the south of the Netherlands and Germany. Willem also worked as an Account Manager at PTS, specializing in secondment projects at high tech companies.

Earlier in their career, Bouwmeester was the Business Unit Manager Embedded Software at Topic Embedded Systems and played a crucial role in setting up a recruitment department. Willem also contributed to the growth of the Technical Automation department at Yacht as an Account Manager, doubling the number of employees within two years and achieving a preferred supplier status at Philips.

Before joining Yacht, Bouwmeester worked as an Independent Sales Professional for various clients, undertaking multiple sales and management roles on an interim basis. This included sales of digital printing, managing a booth building company, and sales of specialized electrical wiring.

Overall, Bouwmeester has extensive experience in various leadership, sales, and management roles, with expertise in the high tech industry and a proven track record in achieving sales targets and building strong customer relationships.

Willem Bouwmeester attended the University of Applied Sciences in Dordrecht from 1982 to 1987, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Technical Business Management.
