Rick Weidinger

Founder & CEO at Robotic VISION Technologies

Rick Weidinger is an experienced business executive, having held a variety of roles in the technology and communications industries. In 1987, they served as Chief Financial Officer for ICC. Rick then joined MFS Communications in 1989 as a Founding Member and Vice President of Corporate Development. During their time at MFS, they were involved in more than 25 transactions totaling approximately $18 billion. In 1997, they became Vice President of Integration & Development for Worldcom/MFS/UUNET. In 1999, they became Chairman, President, and CEO of Pontio, and directed the company's acquisition by a Fortune 50 Company in 2000. Rick retired from Pontio in 2001. In 2005, they became the owner of A1 TEAM USA, which represents the United States in the global A1GP World Cup of Motorsport. In 2010, they founded and became CEO of Robotic VISION Technologies, a leader in the field of intelligent machine vision and robotic vision software.

Rick Weidinger obtained a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln between 1978 and 1982. Rick then attended Creighton University School of Law, where they earned a Juris Doctor and Master in Business Administration between 1982 and 1985. Rick also holds a BS, JD, MBA certification.
