William Tao

William Tao is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in technology and business leadership. As the Founder and Director of AI and Environmental Tech at Anavision since October 2020, William has been actively involved in innovation and sustainability. In addition, William serves as a Board Member at Robotics Cats and the COO of Insight Robotics Ltd., roles held since March 2020 and November 2017, respectively. Previously, as Managing Director for Hong Kong at invoxia and Swissvoice, strategic transformations led to significant business growth and successful sale of Swissvoice to a publicly listed company. William’s tenure at Technicolor saw successful expansion in the North Asia region, earning prestigious sales awards. An educational background includes degrees from the University of Cambridge and the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, highlighting expertise in finance, sustainability, and electronic engineering.
