Waseem Khan

Director of Research (Robotic Software) at Robotmaster

Waseem Khan began their career in 2008 as the Director of Technology at Jabez Technologies Inc. In 2015, they moved to Hypertherm as a Technology Leader. In 2017, they joined Robotmaster as the Director of Research (Robotic Software). In this role, they acted as a development-team consultant, focusing on new features in the Robotmaster application, such as machine vision in robotic programming, multi-robot planning, and digital transformation (SAAS). Waseem also implemented agile practices, such as multi-track development, lean development, feature slicing, outsourcing in Agile, and QA/QC practices in Agile. Additionally, they developed the Chief Product Owner (CPO) role, including expectations, product management tool selection and implementation, and integration with the organization.

Waseem Khan has a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and Master of Engineering (MEng) in Mechanical Engineering from McGill University. Khan has also obtained several certifications from McGill University School of Continuing Studies, MIT Sloan School of Management, and ASME (The American Society of Mechanical Engineers).
