Stephanie Ellis began their career in 2006 as a Research Intern for NBCUniversal, Inc. - Late Night with Conan O'Brien. Stephanie was chosen as one of three interns out of nearly 100 qualified applicants and was responsible for researching five to ten guests per week usually on extremely tight deadline schedules.

In 2007, Ellis began working for Orion International as an Internal Recruiter and Production Assistant. As an Internal Recruiter, their main duties included candidate sourcing from websites, creating and maintaining job postings, cold calling, making initial contact with candidates and determining their eligibility for internal positions. As a Production Assistant, Ellis assisted the senior national recruiter for America’s largest military placement firm, and their responsibilities included database maintenance, candidate sourcing, candidate preparation for conferences and interviewing, and preparation of pre and post conference reports.

In 2010, Ellis began working for Robroy® Industries as a Director of Marketing, Marketing Manager, Director of Educational Programs/Product Marketing Specialist, and Executive Assistant. As a Marketing Manager, Ellis was responsible for coordinating all marketing activities for Robroy Conduit Division, including the following product lines: Plasti-Bond, Perma-Cote, KorKap, ECN/Korns, Robroy Stainless and Rocket Rack. As a Director of Educational Programs/Product Marketing Specialist, they were responsible for coordinating all educational marketing activities for Robroy Conduit Division, developing and maintaining research on target audience, developing detail planning and execution of tactical goals to strengthen spec position, and managing and coordinating databases. As an Executive Assistant, Ellis served as an extension, agent, and representative of the President/COO of Robroy Industries and the Conduit Division President.

Also in 2010, Ellis began working for Corrosion College as a Director and Coordinator. As a Director, they were responsible for expanding emphasis of educational efforts from the electrical market to corrosion applications and leading efforts to focus Corrosion College toward technical instruction of the end user and specifying Engineers. As a Coordinator, they were responsible for presenting portions of the curriculum, maintaining communications with Corrosion College alumni, and coordinating all travel and scheduling of participants.

Stephanie Ellis obtained their Bachelor's degree in Communications from Stephen F. Austin State University between 2002 and 2006. In 2011, they earned their NACE Basic Corrosion Certification from NACE International. Stephanie then obtained their NACE Corrosion Technician Certification from NACE International in 2015, followed by their NACE Coatings Inspector certification in 2018. In 2014, they also became a Notary Public in the State of Texas.
