Sajana Weerawardhena

Sajana Weerawardhena has worked as a Software Engineer at Robust Intelligence since 2022, at Confluent since 2020, and as a Software Engineering Intern at Confluent from 2019-2020. In 2019, they worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Stanford University. From 2018-2019, they were a Software Engineering Intern and True Entrepreneur Corps Fellow at Prellis Biologics, Inc., where they developed a solution for rasterizing STL/OBJ models and worked on modularizing, automating and optimizing the fracture and hologen processes in the 3D printing process. In 2018, they were a CS 50: Using Tech for Social Good Instructor at CS+Social Good, managing two 3 person software development teams and designing and teaching a Web Programming workshop. From 2016-2017, they were a Chapter Leader - YouthHack Sri Lanka, managing YouthHack Sri Lanka 2017, overseeing the expansion of Start-up Challenge, and piloting a program to teach Programming through MOOC study groups. In 2017, they were a Software Engineering Intern at Calcey Technologies, building prototypes for clients, developing the backend of mobile-first web application, and integrating authentication, Payment Gateway, and SMS.

Sajana Weerawardhena attended Stanford University from 2016 to 2020, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science in 2020 and a Master's degree in Computer Science in 2020.
