Paul Goodwin

Paul Goodwin has a comprehensive work experience spanning several decades. Paul started their career in 1979 as a Computer Apprentice at Ferranti Computer Systems. Paul then worked as a Computer Field Engineer at C.D.S. COMPUTER DESIGN SYSTEMS LIMITED before returning to Ferranti Computer Systems as a Project Manager/Engineer. In 1988, they joined Racal Datacom as a Data Network Engineer. Paul then moved to Daisy Group in 1994 and served as a Senior Data Network Engineer, where they were responsible for maintenance and installations of data networks.

In 2017, they joined Allvotec as a Data Network Team Leader - North, overseeing the management of the team responsible for data network operations. During their time at Allvotec, they also managed the T2 Network Tech Support Team and T2 Retail Tech Support Team.

In 2022, Paul joined BT as a Lead Consultant Specialist, where they led the migration of an old Avaya network to a new Cisco network for Greater Manchester Police. As part of their role, they also provided assistance to Technical Design Authorities with Low-Level Designs.

Starting in 2023, Paul will be working at Roc Technologies as an L2 Network Engineer.

From 1979 to 1983, Paul Goodwin attended Salford Tech College. During this time, they pursued a degree in Electrical, Electronic and Communications Engineering Technology/Technician. Paul successfully completed the program, earning a HTC/OTC degree.
