Max Frost has a diverse work experience. In 2020, they co-founded RocaNews. From 2018 to 2020, they held various roles at the American Enterprise Institute, including Senior Associate, Foreign and Defense Policy, Research Associate, Foreign and Defense Policy, and Research Assistant, Foreign and Defense Policy. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as a Communications Assistant at Damage Control Consultancy. In 2015, they were a Research Assistant at the University of Virginia. From 2013 to 2014, they were a Travel Writer at The Chronicle and a Sales Associate at Brooks Brothers. During their time at the American Enterprise Institute, they conducted research on South Asia, Sub-Saharan Africa, and American grand strategy, hosted AEI's official podcast, Banter, and wrote op-eds and blogs for external publication. At the University of Virginia, they conducted quantitative research with Dr. Peter Furia about the frequency and distribution of global terrorist attacks using the START Terrorism Database. At The Chronicle, they wrote a weekly travel column and analyzed international cultural and political events. At Brooks Brothers, they sold business and dress attire to a variety of clients and was the leading salesperson for the 2013 summer.
Max Frost attended Johns Hopkins University Advanced Academic Programs from 2019 to 2020, where they earned a Master of Science (M.S.) in Applied Economics with a Concentration in Financial Economics. Prior to that, they attended the University of Virginia from 2012 to 2016 and earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in International Relations and Affairs and International Economics.
