Ashley Lakner is currently serving as the Head of Oncology Discovery Ad interim in pRED Oncology at Roche since May 2023 and previously held the role of Head of Strategy & Chief of Staff for Oncology Pharma Research & Early Development. Prior to joining Roche, Ashley Lakner worked at Bayer from October 2022 to June 2023 in the Strategic Business Unit Oncology - Oncology Development, and from May 2015 to August 2022, held multiple leadership positions including Site Head at the Bayer Research & Innovation Center and Vice President roles focused on Precision Molecular Oncology and Oncogenic Signaling. Earlier experience includes working at DKFZ German Cancer Research Center, Carolinas HealthCare System, and the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where Ashley Lakner engaged in research and post-doctoral studies in oncology and internal medicine. Academic qualifications include degrees from James Madison University and the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
