Claus Kappler

Claus Kappler is an experienced IT leader currently serving as Head IT/OT Pharma Manufacturing Operation at Roche since August 2023. Prior to this role, Claus held the position of Vice President IT at Vetter Pharma from January 2022 to August 2023. With a decade of experience at Novartis, Claus served as Head IT for Pharma Operations in both Switzerland and Germany from April 2012 to January 2022. Earlier in Claus's career, roles included CIO for Switzerland & Eastern Europe and Global Head of Infrastructure Services at CIBA Vision from 1998 to April 2012, as well as Global Project Manager at Ciba Specialty Chemicals and Infrastructure Specialist at Ciba-Geigy. Claus holds a degree in Diplom Wirtschaftsinformatik from Pforzheim University, earned between 1985 and 1989.
