David Penkler

David Penkler is a Principal Bioinformatics Scientist II at Roche Sequencing USA, where they focus on computational biology, sequencing workflows, and biomarker engineering. Having earned a Ph.D. in Bioinformatics and Computational Molecular Biology from Rhodes University, they have also held positions as a Bioinformatics Scientist and Sub-chapter Lead at Roche. Previously, David contributed as a Software Developer and Lecturer at Rhodes University and gained experience as an Intern Researcher at the Dorrington Research Group. Early in their career, they worked as a salesman at Exclusive Books.
