Dominik Wendel

Dominik Wendel has extensive experience in digital operations and informatics within the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as the Digital Data Backbone Chapter Lead at Roche since June 2002. This role focuses on developing a comprehensive digital data backbone vision and strategy to enhance capabilities across Pharmaceutical Technical Operations, with an emphasis on data governance and integration. Wendel has held various leadership positions at Roche, including Global Network Head Pharma Informatics and Head of Pharma Informatics for Drug Product IT. Prior to Roche, Wendel worked as a Specialized Computer Scientist at encee CAD/CAM-Systeme GmbH. Wendel's education includes the Senior Executive Program from London Business School and a Fachinformatiker Systemintegration from VARIMETRIX Deutschland GmbH.
