Juan José Bonfiglio

Juan José Bonfiglio is an accomplished scientist with extensive experience in mass spectrometry and drug discovery. Currently serving as Senior Scientist and Lab Head at Roche since February 2020, Juan José leads large molecule drug discovery projects, integrates cross-functional activities to enhance productivity, and drives innovation as a VACC leader. Previous roles include postdoctoral researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Biology of Ageing, where Juan José specialized in protein PTM analysis and managed collaborative projects. Juan José has also served as a consultant in biotechnology for the Argentine Ministry of Agriculture and held research positions focused on oncology at IBioBA - CONICET. With a strong academic background, Juan José earned both a Master's Degree and a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Buenos Aires and contributed to teaching at various educational institutions.
