Kavita Patel

Kavita Patel is the General Manager for Roche Greece and Cyprus and a LifeCycle Leader specializing in Neuromuscular Diseases. Since March 2020, Kavita has led the global lifecycle team responsible for the R&D, manufacturing, and commercialization of Evrysdi (SMA) and pipeline molecules related to SMA and FSHD. Prior to this role, Kavita held various leadership positions at Genentech from August 2009 to March 2020, including Franchise Head for Respiratory, where marketing, field, access, and medical operations were overseen. Earlier experience at Roche Pharmaceuticals involved responsibilities in product promotion and economic strategy for multiple therapeutic areas. Kavita holds a PharmD and MBA from Drake University and a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Pharmacoeconomics from the University of Washington.
