Kevin Walsh

Kevin Walsh is the Government Affairs and Policy Lead at Roche, where they leverage over two decades of expertise in immunology, drug discovery, and innovation policy to influence National and European policies that enhance patient access to innovative medicines. Kevin's career began in immunology research, contributing to the development of novel therapies and resulting in both high-impact academic publications and a patent for a spin-out company. Prior to Roche, they held leadership roles in Ireland's public sector, shaping national research and innovation policy, and have served as a Senior Research Fellow at Trinity College Dublin. Kevin's mission at Roche is to drive transformative therapies through collaboration, creativity, and a strong focus on patient-centered outcomes. They continue to hold a position on the Governance Committee for the SFI Centre for Research Training in Genomics Data Science.
