Miroslav Nikolov

Miroslav Nikolov is a Senior Scientist and Lab Head at Roche Pharma Research and Early Development since July 2017, specializing in the characterization of therapeutic antibodies and next-generation biologics through mass spectrometry and biochemical analytics, with a focus on laboratory automation and high throughput methodologies. Prior to this role, Miroslav served as a Research Scientist at the Center for Molecular Biosystems and The Gene Center of Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität from November 2014 to June 2017, where responsibilities included high-throughput sample processing and advanced genomic techniques. Earlier experience includes a Bridging Postdoctoral Fellowship and a PhD at the Max Planck Institute for Biophysical Chemistry, where Miroslav conducted research in structural mass spectrometry and proteomics. Educationally, Miroslav holds a PhD and MSc from the University of Göttingen and a BSc from Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski." Additionally, Miroslav co-organized the Horizons in Molecular Biology Symposium, showcasing strong leadership and collaborative skills in scientific community engagement.
