Paul Darby

Paul Darby is currently a Principal Bioinformatics Scientist at Roche, where they focus on assay bioinformatics development and design. Previously, they served as a Bioinformatics Scientist at LumiraDx, specializing in genome analysis and data mining, as well as at Hologic, Inc., where they developed mutational analysis programs for SARS-CoV-2 assays. Paul began their research career as a Research Associate at California State University, Long Beach, exploring neurofilament protein structures and contributing to various teaching roles. They hold both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Biochemistry from California State University, Long Beach.
