Sascha Roehrig

Sascha Roehrig has extensive experience in the biotechnology and diagnostics sectors, currently serving as the Head of Finance and Commercial Services at Roche since July 2006. Roehrig has held various leadership roles at Roche, including Finance Network Lead for Core Lab, Head of Finance & Project Management for Centralized Solutions, and Director of System Development for Roche Molecular Diagnostics. Earlier career positions include Senior Manager for the development of the cobas 6800/8800 systems and Senior Team Leader for the System Verification Management of cobas s 401 blood screening systems. Prior to Roche, Roehrig was Department Leader and Team Leader of Bioinformatics & IT at Xantos Biomedicine AG from August 2000 to March 2006. Educational achievements include a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München and a Diplom in Human Biology from The Philipp University of Marburg.
