Sean Armour

Sean Armour is an experienced scientific problem solver and organizational leader currently serving as the VP and Head of Discovery at Roche since 2025. Previously, Sean held the role of SVP, Head of Discovery at Spark Therapeutics from 2021 to 2025, where they advanced innovations in gene therapy. Their career also includes significant research and leadership positions at institutions such as Harvard Medical School and the University of Pennsylvania, culminating in a Ph.D. in Biomedical and Biological Sciences from Harvard. Notably, Sean's early work in various research roles contributed to advancements in cancer and metabolic disease understanding.
