Shih-Chen Chang

Shih-Chen Chang is currently the Group Head in Ophthalmology, Real-World Data Science at Genentech, a member of Roche, a position held since 2024. Previously, Shih-Chen served as the Group Head for infectious disease, immunology, and ophthalmology at Genentech and held various roles in epidemiology and data science across companies like Roche, Pharmacyclics, and AstraZeneca. Shih-Chen's expertise is underpinned by a Ph.D. in Nutritional Epidemiology from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and extensive research experience, including a role as Principal Research Scientist at the Asian Vegetable Research & Development Center. In addition to their professional career, Shih-Chen has actively contributed to the Chinese Bioscience Association as President and Conference Chair in 2013.
