Derek Susalla, M.S., PA-C, currently serves as the Lead Physician Assistant at Medabolic, a virtual weight management clinic specializing in obesity treatment that incorporates psychological and lifestyle adjustments. With experience as a Physician Assistant at the Rochester Center for Behavioral Medicine, Derek has a strong background in outpatient psychiatric and behavioral health care, complemented by previous roles in urgent care settings. Clinical training included numerous healthcare facilities where skills such as wound closure, catheter insertion, and advanced diagnostic procedures were developed. Derek holds a Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Wayne State University and a Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Central Michigan University.

Under the medical leadership of Joel L. Young, MD , RCBM is a leader in the diagnosis and treatment of ADHD. RCBM also offers a variety of services to children, adolescents, adults and seniors including the treatment ADHD and learning disabilities; depression, bipolar disorder, and other mood and anxiety disorders; work-related concerns, family and marital issues; substance abuse and eating disorders, along with weight management. Mission: RCBM brings the highest quality, measurement-based mental health care to our community.
