Cathy Hain currently serves as the Associate Vice President for University Advancement at the Rochester Institute of Technology since January 2021. Previously, Cathy held various leadership positions at the Eastman School of Music, including Assistant Vice President of Advancement and Executive Director of Advancement from October 2013 to January 2021. Prior experience includes serving as Senior Director for Advancement and Special Assistant to the SVP of Advancement at the University of Rochester from 2010 to October 2013, as Development Director for Neuromedicine at the University of Rochester Medical Center from 2005 to 2010, and as Corporate & Foundation Relations Manager at the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra from 2002 to 2005. Cathy began the career as an Americorps Volunteer at Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver in 2001. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Business Administration from the University of Rochester - Simon Business School and a Bachelor of Music Education from Indiana University Bloomington.
