Jesse O'Brien

Jesse O'Brien is an accomplished educator and industry professional in the field of animation and game design, currently serving as an Assistant Professor at the Rochester Institute of Technology since August 2013, teaching a variety of courses ranging from 2D animation to virtual reality in medical applications. In addition to academic roles, Jesse holds the position of Art Director at Magic Spell Studios, working on an innovative party game, while also contributing to notable projects as a freelance character animator for various companies including Velan Studios, Hi-Rez Studios, and Valve Corporation. Jesse's educational background includes an MFA in 3D Character Animation from the Academy of Art University and a BS in Media Arts and Animation from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, complemented by an AAS in Computer Art and Design from Alfred State College.
