John Schrenker

John Schrenker, MPA, FHIMSS, is an experienced professional in educational management and healthcare informatics, currently serving as the Manager of Learning Space and Classroom Technology at the Rochester Institute of Technology since March 2019. Previously, John held positions as Program Director and faculty at Bryant & Stratton College-Buffalo and worked in various roles at Monroe Community College and Roberts Wesleyan College, where responsibilities included teaching graduate courses in Healthcare Informatics Administration and establishing partnerships to enhance enrollment in healthcare programs. John’s extensive background includes leadership positions in healthcare technology as CIO at Lakeside Health System and Director of Information Systems at Patient Infosystems, complemented by various adjunct teaching roles across multiple institutions. John earned an Advanced Graduate Certificate in Project Management from the Rochester Institute of Technology, as well as a Master of Public Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from SUNY Brockport.
