Rochester Institute of Technology
Ricardo R. Figueroa currently serves as the Undergraduate Program Director and Associate Professor in the Motion Picture Science department at the Rochester Institute of Technology, with a tenure beginning in August 2008. Additional roles include Interim Co-Director of the School of Film and Animation and previous experience as Assistant Professor in the same field. Prior to this academic role, Figueroa spent a decade at Kodak, holding various positions including Film and Digital Systems Lab Manager and Regional Digital/Hybrid Technologies Director. Earlier career experience includes roles as an Automation Engineer at Ortho-McNeil Pharmaceutical and Database Programmer at LifeScan. Figueroa holds a PhD in Computing and Information Science from the Rochester Institute of Technology and both BSEE and MSEE degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico, Mayaguez Campus.
