Rui Liu is an experienced academic and engineer, currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Rochester Institute of Technology since January 2015, following a position as a Visiting Assistant Professor. Prior to this, Rui Liu worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Georgia Institute of Technology from August 2010 to December 2014 and held the role of Process Engineer at Aircraft Maintenance and Engineering Corporation (Ameco) from August 2005 to September 2008. Rui Liu earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Finite Element Modeling and Machining from Georgia Institute of Technology, a Master's degree in Dynamics and Vibrations from Northeastern University, and a Bachelor's degree in Jet Propulsion from Beihang University.
