Thomas Gaborski serves as the Department Head and Professor of Biomedical Engineering at the Rochester Institute of Technology since 2012, where Thomas also directs the Biomedical and Chemical Engineering Ph.D. Program. In addition to academic roles, Thomas holds a position as a Board Member and President of SiMPore, overseeing R&D, sales, and membrane characterization teams, and has played a pivotal role in securing funding for the development of laboratory products utilizing ultrathin membranes. Thomas's educational background includes a BS in Biological Engineering from Cornell University and further studies at the University of Rochester and the University at Buffalo.
