Jherrard Hardeman

Jherrard Hardeman is an accomplished conductor with extensive experience in various prestigious orchestras and music institutions. Currently serving as the Assistant Conductor of the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra and Music Director of the Rochester Philharmonic Youth Orchestra since May 2023, Jherrard has previously held positions as Assistant Conductor for the Chicago Sinfonietta and Cover Conductor at the Lyric Opera of Chicago for "The Factotum" in early 2023. Other notable roles include Guest Conductor at the Seattle Symphony for the Winter Family Concert and Interim Music Director at the Community Music Center of Boston. Jherrard co-founded the Detroit Chamber Orchestra, emphasizing passionate musical expression, and has engaged with various orchestras and festivals throughout a distinguished career. Educational qualifications include studies at The Juilliard School and the Longy School of Music, among others.
