Mike Davenport

Mike Davenport is the current President at Rochester Precision Optics. Mike has also been a Manufacturing Engineering Manager, Operations Manager, and Director of Production Engineering at various companies.

Mike started their career as a Manufacturing Consultant in May 2014. Mike then became a Manufacturing Engineering Manager at L-3 Warrior Systems Insight Operations in November 2012. In this position, they were responsible for the day-to-day activities of the Manufacturing Engineering group, solving technical and production issues, and yields and product flow. Mike was also responsible for tooling and test equipment, and all personnel hiring, discipline and evaluations.

In April 2011, Mike became the Operations Manager at L-3 Warrior Systems Electronic Tube Operations. And in January 2008, they were promoted to Director of Production Engineering at L-3 Warrior Systems Insight Operations. In this position, they were responsible for all aspects of production engineering, including product design, process development, tooling design and build, process documentation, process validation, cost estimation, and production support.

Mike then left L-3 Warrior Systems Insight Operations in January 2016 to become the General Manager at RDS Machine. And finally, in August 2014, they became the President at Rochester Precision Optics.

Mike Davenport attended Southern New Hampshire University.
