Mary-Kate Hasselwander

Mary-Kate Hasselwander is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in public service, finance, and community engagement. Currently serving as the Manager of Library Finance at Rochester Public Library since February 2024, Mary-Kate previously held various roles in the City of Rochester, including Deputy Chief of Staff and Legislative Director to City Council. Responsibilities included legislative analysis, budget assessment, and policy research. Additional experience encompasses roles in community wealth building, AmeriCorps service, and administrative support in governmental settings. Mary-Kate holds a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Language and Literature and Economics from the University of Rochester and is pursuing a Master of Library & Information Science at Simmons University.
